Libelle Dlg Manual
Libelle Dlg Manual - https://shurll.com/2tdGNT
I've now got the manual made and I can't recommend it highly enough. I think it's just displayed that Philips know was the best way to make good old..er... well... old money from the original design up to the new era of flight. There's a few bits that I was not sure of e.g. an all-round window in the top of the wing, but the explanation is perfect and the information you will need to put the plane together is there in the first chapter in a simple to follow way. I found the whole build process to be a pleasure from start to finish - if you've ever watched a Tamiya or Leech TV tutorial you'd know what to expect. If you've got the minimum of experience with home building, probably you can do it in a day or less with a bit of practice. The first time you get it in the air is a pretty special moment - you can feel the excitement and the rush of the controls working when otherwise you would be sitting at a computer or working on something else. If you've not done this before then be careful - you WILL think of something new to try. And do it a second time - it's just that good.
The manual is very good and easy to follow. I have only begun to get the aircraft flying, but the explanations and hints are perfect, and the photographs left no doubt what to do. After getting the wing in the correct position, I added the 3mm and 5mm reflexes and aileron, and trimmed the elevator and rudder. The assembly was very simple with suitable small spacers; but time consuming. The wing is made of mainly Carbon and Aluminum, and is joined with laser-cut Carbon rods and aluminum tubes. The back of the wing and tail are made from carbon fiber. The top and bottom plates are made from Aluminum. I'm quite happy with this airplane: it has just the right strength and stiffness for flying with a dry day's breeze. And the excellent support that I've received for posting this project on the forum, has made me totally confident regarding the fitment and operation of the plane. d2c66b5586
